Owners / REALTORS® - Chris and Elisa Roland
Chris and Elisa met at church in Brownwood in 2002 and were married in August of 2003. While looking for their 1st home, by the grace of God they met Larry & Jody Guthrie who owned and operated Ranch & Hunting Land Realty, which led Chris to the dream career that he didn’t even know he wanted… selling ranches. Chris quickly got licensed & began working for the company. Elisa got licensed as well and went to work for the company in May of 2006. Chris and Elisa have two beautiful daughters. Their family hobbies include fishing, outdoor activities, snow skiing, and family game nights.
Chris Roland - Owner / Broker
Born in Dallas, Chris played football & wrestled in high school and went on to graduate from the University of North Texas in 1994 with a B.A. in mathematics and taught high school and middle school math for 14 years.
With his great enjoyment of hunting, fishing, and country living in general - he bought a ranch in Coleman County in 1997. He later moved from Dallas to Coleman County to live on the ranch while continuing to teach math at Brownwood Middle School. After falling in love and marrying Elisa, he stumbled upon his dream job, selling ranch & hunting land. He worked as a teacher and real estate agent for a few years then obtained his Broker's license in January of 2007. In 2008 he retired from teaching and has been selling Texas land ever since. Besides being a full time real estate Broker, Chris stays busy volunteering at church, teaching his daughters to fish, and managing the family ranch.
As an avid outdoorsman, Chris greatly enjoys hunting and fishing. Elisa Roland - Owner / Administrator / REALTOR®
After graduating from Texas Bible College, this Texas girl returned to Brownwood & joined the staff of her home church, where she still works today. But Elisa didn’t stop there, a few years after marrying Chris she decided to get her real estate license to help her new husband any way that she could. As a full time mother of 2 young children, most of her work for Ranch and Hunting Land is behind the scenes, but it is by no means less impacting, given that she manages the marketing campaigns, web design, merchandising, advertising, finances and contract negotiations.
Elisa is the type of person that works in the back ground and quietly makes all the pieces fall into place... she is truly indispensable to our company.
